Summer Camps Info

Inclusion Moose Jaw’s Summer Camp offers a fun, welcoming environment where children and youth can connect, participate, and enjoy meaningful summer experiences. Our camp focuses on inclusion, friendship, and positive community involvement through a variety of engaging activities.
 
Each summer, our team works closely with families to create a supportive experience that respects individual needs, encourages participation, and builds confidence. Summer Camp is about having fun, trying new things, and being part of a community where everyone belongs.

MOXIE - Beginner

Beginner MOXIE is a summer program for children ages 3–7 who have a confirmed diagnosis of autism. The program offers a balance of individualized and small-group recreational and learning activities, along with some community-based experiences.

 

A dedicated support worker guides participants through each day to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Participants must have a confirmed autism diagnosis to qualify. Returning participants do not need to resubmit proof of diagnosis. The staff-to-participant ratio for this program is 1:1.

 

Transportation
Community outings are within walking distance. Transportation to and from the program is the responsibility of parents or caregivers.

Program Hours

  • Morning Session: 9:30 am-12:00 pm

  • Afternoon Session: 12:30 pm-3:00 pm

  • Full Day (Ages 6–7 only): 10:00 am-3:00 pm

 

Please note: Early drop-offs and late pick-ups are not available due to staffing requirements. Late pick-ups, with or without communication, will result in a late fee per participant.

MOXIE - JR & SR

Jr & Sr MOXIE is a summer program for participants ages 8–22 with a confirmed diagnosis of autism. The program offers a combination of individualized and small-group recreational and learning activities, including community-based experiences, with a dedicated support worker guiding participants through each day.

Participants must have a confirmed autism diagnosis to qualify. Returning participants do not need to resubmit proof of diagnosis. The staff-to-participant ratio for this program is 1:1.

Transportation

Transportation during program hours is included in the program fee.

 

Families may arrange their own transportation to and from the program or choose an enhanced transportation option for an additional $40 per day, which includes transportation to and from the program and may include behavioral and social coaching.

Program Hours

  • Juniors (Ages 8–12): 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

  • Seniors (Ages 13+): 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Transitions For Life

Transitions for Life is a summer program for youth ages 13–22 with intellectual disabilities. The program offers engaging learning and recreational activities that focus on building independence, social skills, and confidence.

 

Participants are encouraged to explore their strengths, develop friendships, and practice communication and emotional awareness in a supportive, inclusive environment.

​

Community involvement is an important part of the program and may include volunteer activities and outings within Moose Jaw.

 

Participants must have an intellectual disability and be 13 years old by July 1, 2026 to qualify. The staff-to-participant ratio for this program is 1:1.

Inclusive Summer Program

The Inclusive Summer Program supports participants ages 6 and up in successfully participating in community-based programs.

 

Participants choose a community program they wish to attend, and Inclusion Moose Jaw provides a dedicated support worker to assist throughout the day.

 

A support facility is also available if a participant needs a break before returning to the program.

Participants must have an intellectual disability and meet the age requirements of the selected community program.

 

Parents drop off and pick up at Inclusion Moose Jaw, with staff providing transportation to and from the community program as needed.

Transportation

Transportation between Inclusion Moose Jaw and the community program is included in the program fee.

 

Programs within walking distance are not transported by vehicle.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form

Fill out the Summer Camp application form with participant information, support needs, and emergency contact details. Providing as much information as possible helps our team plan for a safe and positive experience.
 

Step 3: Submit Your Application

Once the form is complete, submit it online. Our team will review all applications and follow up if additional information is needed.
 

Step 4: Confirmation & Next Steps

After your application is reviewed, you will be contacted with confirmation details, next steps, and any additional information about the camp schedule or requirements.
